Called Matt to hot mop two showers were getting remodeled. He was busy this week but extremely accommodating in coming down to Santa Cruz and doing this for us the next day.

He explained the entire process, ensured the sloping was done correctly, fixed the framing issues and the drain alignments. Then finished up both showers within 4 hours. Ensured the weep holes for the drains were clear and told us what to do expect and how to manage the city inspections. Offered to come fix anything that goes wrong. Really A+ classy guy.

I had a great experience with Matt! I have two planters attached to my house that were improperly waterproofed by the previous owner. I’ve worked with three contractors and handymen to try to get it resolved, and no one has been able to figure out what’s going on, let alone fix it. Matt was a legit Sherlock Holmes and lo and behold was able to suss out the problem!! He went above and beyond, and now my planters drain properly and are watertight! Not only was he able to do it, but he did it under a bit of a time crunch. I can’t express how much I appreciate it.

I contacted Matt on Saturday to do Hot Mop for a bath, he quoted a reasonable price, contracted on the call, no need to compare or search. He came at scheduled time and finished everything including Drain Re-adjustment. He happily gave us discount on Drain adjustment labor. Will definitely contact him again for any waterproofing project.
